There was a nominally significant interaction between COPD status and the effect of finerenone on improvement in NYHA class from baseline to 12 months, such that finerenone appeared to improve NYHA class in patients with COPD, but not in those without COPD ( p interaction = 0.048) ( Table 3 ).
