Pulmonary edema on chest X-ray was more frequent and NT-proBNP levels were higher in patients with successful fluid removal, but these differences did not reach statistical significance (45.2% vs. 19.0%, P = 0.052 and 4510 vs. 3416 pg/mL, P = 0.145, respectively).
