While insomnia appeared to be more common among patients with metastatic disease in the general population, this difference did not reach statistical significance. However, a statistically significant association was identified within the subgroup of patients with gynecological malignancies, in which those with metastatic-stage disease exhibited a markedly higher prevalence of insomnia.
