Although our findings did not reach statistical significance and showed a slight advantage toward the multivessel PCI approach, they still highlight the elevated rates of renal support and the use of MCS, which has been independently associated with mortality in patients with CS-AMI. 16 The major differences between our study and the CULPRIT-SHOCK trial are the younger age in our patients, high prevalence of SCAI Stage D shock and post-cardiac arrest PCI.
