Obtaining maximum weight Early achievers of maximum body mass (i.e., before the average age of 58.9 months) reached a larger final body size ( F = 9.35, p = 0.004), were less active ( F = 9.61, p = 0.003), had higher fasting glucose ( F = 5.34, p = 0.025) and HbA1c values ( F = 7.72, p = 0.008), and also exhibited higher fat mass, however, differences in fat mass did not reach statistical significance ( F = 4.02, p = 0.051).
