In the between-group comparison, we found that hearing-impaired subjects had significantly larger values in the five features than normal-hearing subjects; in the within-group comparison, we found that there was a clear trend in the values of the features in different emotions: neutral < negative < positive, for both normal-hearing and hearing-impaired subjects.
