Consistent with these studies, in our study, the PRF group exhibited a higher rate of moderate new bone formation than the control group; however, this difference did not reach statistical significance. Nonetheless, using PRF alone supports new bone formation by enhancing vascularization and promoting osteogenic cell differentiation, suggesting that it is an effective material for GTR.
