The results of this analysis, presented in Supplementary Table 1, revealed that even with the inclusion of this extreme value, NPAR maintained a positive association with complicated appendicitis across all models, with significant associations observed in Model 1 and Model 2, while the association in Model 3 remained positive and approached significance.
