Similarly, the TyG index as a continuous variable was independently associated with 28-day mortality in the fully adjusted model (HR = 1.433, 95% CI: 1.118–1.836, p = 0.005), although the association for the highest TyG quartile (Q3) did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.054).
