In contrast to the high ASIR, high-income North America had the lowest EAPC value of incidence rate, which was −0.56 (95% CI: −1.04 to −0.08) and a negative trend, suggesting that the incidence of patients with PCOS is slowly decreasing.
Regionally, only Tropical Latin America [EAPC −0.22 (95% CI: −0.4 to −0.05)] showed a decreasing trend ( Table 1 ).
