Using wild-type EGFR as the reference, patients with exon 20 insertions had a significantly increased risk of mortality (OS: hazard ratio [HR], 3.223; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.271–8.170; p=0.014), though their increased risk of recurrence did not reach statistical significance (DFS: HR, 1.760; 95% CI, 0.708–4.377; p=0.224).
