The reduction in HDL did not reach statistical significance compared to controls, but the increase in LDL-C was statistically significant (HDL-C MD: −2.02; 95%CI: −4.28; 0.25; I 2 : 55% and LDL-C MD: 12.99; 95% CI:1.27; 24.71; I 2 : 82%) (Fig. 5 ) (Table 4 ).
