At 7 days post-infection, the AVI-4206 treated and Mac1-deficient virus infected mice maintained significantly higher levels of IP-10, IL-2, and IL-6 (p < 0.05) compared to the vehicle treated group; TNF-α showed a similar trend but did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 6G ).
