These findings align with our CyTOF analysis, which identified a CD88+ (C5aR1+) microglial cluster that was more abundant in CR2-Crry-treated animals, although it did not reach statistical significance, likely due to signal dilution from analyzing whole brain tissue, whereas the relevant population was primarily localized to the hippocampus.
