Across all three window sizes, the energy cost does not vary noticeably with control time when the adjacency matrix is based on sFC, whereas a negative trend, more prominent for the longest window size, is observed for the time-invariant system with adjacency matrix defined from SC, as lower values for the energy cost occur at higher control times.
