The results showed that the rates of PPH (Grade B and C), postoperative blood transfusions, abdominal infection, and pulmonary infection were all higher in the group with PBD durations of up to 10 days prior to PD than in the longer duration group, although these differences did not reach statistical significance ( p > 0.05 for all).
