After adjusting for covariates, baseline hs‐cTnT (but not NT‐proBNP) did not reach statistical significance ( P =0.058) but had clinically relevant association with mortality (OR, 2.74 [95% CI, 0.967–7.734]); larger studies could show statistically significant association.
