All patients received antibiotic treatment, and the rate of initial treatment success in the ARDS group (31.2%) was lower than that in the non-ARDS group (45.0%), but the difference between the two groups did not reach statistical significance (P = 0.073) (Tables 1 and 2 .) As shown in Supplementary Figs. 1–6, laboratory indicators in the ARDS group exhibited significant alterations in inflammatory and immune function markers.
