It is also worth noting that, despite an epidermis thickness similar to that of human skin, the differences in thickness of the SC and the rest of the epidermis between the different Phenion samples are quite significant (the SD for the SC is greater than 50% of the mean, and the SD for the epidermis is greater than 15% of the mean), making it difficult to use Phenion FT samples for any kind of experimental statistics.
