The proportion of females was significantly lower in the cardiac group (23.9%) compared to the visceral (47.8%, p < 0.001) and other surgical group (44.0%, p = 0.011); while the difference between the visceral and kidney Tx (22.9%) groups did not reach statistical significance after Holm-Bonferroni adjustment ( p = 0.054).
