3.4 Potential Suitable Area Under Future Scenarios Compared with the current climate (Table 2 ), the total suitable area of ratoon rice shows an increasing trend under all three future climate scenarios, with increases of 5.5%–11.9% in the 2050s and 8.5%–9.6% in the 2090s.
