61 Paired analysis of EVs from the AH of 19 patients with UM before and after brachytherapy showed a trend toward increased EV concentration, as well as increased CD63/81 + and CD9/CD63/81 + EV subpopulations and a decreased CD63 + EV subpopulation. 61 Thus, the authors hypothesized that CD63/81 + and CD9/CD63/81 + EVs may be tumor derived and represent UM biomarkers.
