Mean MMN amplitudes (130–230 ms) at FCz were numerically larger in the Gap condition (M = −2.01 μV, SD = 0.29) compared to the No-Gap condition (M = −1.72 μV, SD = 0.20), although this difference did not reach statistical significance (t (29) = 0.93, p = 0.36, d = 0.17, see Figure 4A ).
