The offspring on an HFD displayed a time-dependent rise in body weight, and the prenatal PM 2.5 exposed offspring showed an even more significant increase in body weight ( Figure A). Moreover, the PM-HFD offspring exhibited an increasing trend in body weight gain compared to FA-HFD offspring after 13 weeks of HFD feeding ( P = 0.0951) ( Figure C).
