The median (IQR) duration of symptoms prior to the initiation of antibiotic therapy in the individuals who developed pulmonary haemorrhage was 5 (4–6) days versus 4 (3–5) days in the individuals who did not develop pulmonary haemorrhage, but this difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.10) ( Table S7 ).
