The MAS group had a higher percentage of female patients (83% [10 of 12] vs 48% [26 of 54]; P = 0.051) and a lower median age at sJIA‐SD diagnosis (MAS 3.32 years, range 0.93–16.6 years; no MAS 9.09 years, range 2.73–15.3 years; P = 0.084), but both differences did not reach statistical significance.
