Blood biochemistry results were within the normal range, except for a transient and reversible increase in aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase levels in one animal from each dosing group, which occurred three days after the first dose and showed a trend towards recovery by day 7 (Supplemental Figure 7 G–L).
