Multivariable logistic regression models ( Table 5 ) confirmed these associations, showing that vitamin D deficiency remained a strong predictor of poor control (adjusted OR: 2.20; 95% CI: 1.30–3.72; p = 0.003) and ≥1 exacerbation (adjusted OR: 2.71; 95% CI: 1.41–5.19; p = 0.003), whereas insufficient vitamin D levels did not reach statistical significance (OR: 1.45; p = 0.16), suggesting a threshold effect.
