In another study by Schuchardt et al using time-of-flight venography, a negative trend in the intracranial venous volume was noted after leak closure, without reaching significance. 9 A recent investigation found higher choroid plexus volumes in patients with SIH compared with healthy controls, which led to the hypothesis of a compensatory role and increased vascularity of the choroid plexus. 10 However, longitudinal volumetric changes following leak closure as well as spatial distribution encompassing all intracranial compartments have not been sufficiently explored.
