In addition, our findings indicated that adolescents from father-only households without advisers showed a tendency toward elevated risks of suicidal behaviors, including suicide attempts (aOR: 1.38, 95% CI: 0.55–3.44), as well as higher levels of internalizing symptoms such as depressive mood, although these associations did not reach statistical significance.
