Regarding effectiveness in accelerating DKA resolution, these findings consistently favoured the combination of SC basal insulin across all included studies of the three types of basal insulin, although some studies of glargine U‐100 did not reach statistical significance. 12 , 13 The pooled analysis demonstrated a significantly faster time to DKA resolution, suggesting that this effect may be generalizable across different early weight‐based dosing regimens of these insulin formulations, approximately 0.3 units/kg, administered within 2–6 h after DKA diagnosis.
