In multivariable regression analysis, there was a significant trend for increased risk of complications with comorbidity level ( P -trend<0.001) and both men with 1-2 comorbidities (ARR = 1.19, 95% CI = 1.05, 1.35) and ≥3 comorbidities (ARR = 1.32, 95% CI = 1.13, 1.55) had significantly higher risk of any 18-month complication relative to men with no comorbidity ( Table 4 ).
