These findings reinforce the role of D2 status as a biological, not just anatomical, indicator of prognosis. Although tumor location did not reach statistical significance in predicting survival (P=0.077), a clinical trend was evident: tumors in the proximal and greater curvature areas were associated with more prolonged survival, possibly due to more effective surgical exposure and lymphatic clearance.
