When the relationships between FE and oral function-related parameters (tongue pressure, ODK (ta+ka), and nif-FTU) were examined, FE tended to be lower in participants with a tongue pressure of <20 kPa than in those with ≥20 kPa; however, this difference did not reach statistical significance ( p =0.540), likely due to the small number of participants with tongue pressure values below 20 kPa, and the results should be interpreted with caution.
