Discussion In this single-centre real-world evaluation of 290 colorectal cancer resections performed during sequential adoption of CMR and dV within a high-volume NHS service, we found that the dV platform was associated with significantly shorter length of stay, higher lymph node yield, and lower conversion and complication rates compared with both laparoscopy and CMR, although several differences did not reach statistical significance after risk adjustment.
