A similar trend was seen for epinephrine-induced aggregation, with higher values in female participants for both PT [69% (IQR: 41–81)] and BC [71% (IQR: 48–77)] transport compared to male participants [PT: 49% (IQR 29–72); BC: 54% (IQR 27–74)], although the differences did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.06 for both) and were attenuated after adjustment for age.
