In olfactory bulb histopathology, significant improvements were observed in glomerular layer thickness, glomerular diameter, perivascular edema, mitral cell density, and microglial activation compared with the positive control group (p = 0.004, 0.007, 0.017, <0.001, and <0.001, respectively), whereas other parameters did not reach statistical significance ( Table 1 ; Supplementary Table S5 ; Supplementary Figures S2 and S3 ).
