Subgroup analysis based on GCLC GAG TNR genotypes revealed that schizophrenia patients with high-risk genotypes (8/8, 8/9, 9/9) had higher MDA levels than those with low-risk genotypes (7/7, 7/9; 0.476 ± 0.197 nmol/mL), although the difference approached but did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.054).
