In all patients, the myocardial markers (e.g., CK, r = 0.625; CKMB, r = 0.476; AST, r = 0.401 and LDH, r = 0.528; all P < 0.05) and certain inflammatory markers (e.g., WBC, r = 0.557; NEU, r = 0.270; NLR, r = 0.349; and MON, r = 0.407; all P < 0.05) exhibited an positive correlation with the eSCORE-CARD values, while other variables (e.g., TyG, r = − 0.290; basophil count [BAS], r = − 0.309; and high density lipoprotein cholesterol [HDL-C], r = − 0.246; all P < 0.05) showed a trend of negative correlation (Fig. 5 E).
