Patients in cohort 1 with poor prognostic factors (older age, high GGG, low Hb, and elevated LDH) showed a trend towards earlier decline in OS than those in cohort 2B, which may indicate that caution is required when cohort 1 treatment is selected for patients with poor prognostic factors.
