Patients with LAM and extrapulmonary manifestations, which included 23 women, showed a trend toward higher serum VEGF-D concentrations compared with those with isolated pulmonary involvement, which included 25 women with values of 1510 ± 968.6 pg/mL versus 1328.5 ± 761.0 pg/mL, with p < 0.06.
