In unvaccinated subjects, diabetes mellitus was associated with higher odds of severe disease (OR = 1.456, 95% CI 1.001–2.118, p = 0.049), whereas this association did not reach statistical significance in the overall cohort (OR = 1.319, 95% CI 0.940–1.851, p = 0.109) ( Table 4 ).
