NH 3 /NH 4 + also caused a decrease of pH i in RhBG G148R ‐expressing oocytes (slope = −6 ± 2.61, N = 8, P = 0.0990) and RhBG G148W ‐expressing oocytes (slope = −6.77 ± 3.43, N = 6, P = 0.218) but did not reach statistical significance compared to WT‐RhBG oocytes (slope = −10.8 ± 3.4, N = 10).
