Studies with small (4 studies) and medium (2 studies) sample sizes also suggested positive associations (0.65 mmHg and 0.60 mmHg per 10 μg/m3 PM 2.5 , respectively), but these did not reach statistical significance and were accompanied by substantial heterogeneity (I2 = 87.0% and 96.3%) (Fig. 3 A).
