Smoking prevalence decreased from 30.5% at diagnosis to 22.5% post-diagnosis, although this reduction did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.06), while moderate-to-heavy alcohol use remained largely unchanged (31.7% vs. 30.5%, p = 1.00).
