In addition, our exploratory LDCT imaging-based subset analysis provided a potential of using growth rate during the time interval from screen detection to diagnosis as a predictor of BM development, although the finding did not reach statistical significance owing to the reduced sample size in the subanalysis of patients with stage I NSCLC who were LDCT screen detected.
