In addition, resistance to piperacillin–tazobactam and tobramycin decreased markedly from the early to the middle period and remained low thereafter (both P < 0.05), whereas the downward trend in gentamicin resistance did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.057) (SupplementaryTable 1; Fig. 2 ).
