The overall rate of any complication at one year was 22.1% (142 of 642) in the NAFLD group and 24.5% (157 of 642) in the cirrhosis group, which did not reach statistical significance (adjusted OR = 0.77, 95% CI = 0.54-1.09, p = 0.134) (Table 3 ).
