Compared with those of the lowest tertile (T1), the hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) of the higher tertiles T2 and T3 were 0.82 (0.72–0.93) and 0.66 (0.56–0.77), respectively, with a significant trend across tertiles (P for trend < 0.001).
