Tattoos and risk of cutaneous melanoma and nonmelanoma skin cancer in France.

In the logistic regression a statistically significant risk decrease was observed in individuals with a tattooed body surface of more than 2 hand palms, however, it was based on only 2 individuals diagnosed with any skin cancer among 1633 participants in this exposure category, strongly hampering that finding, which furthermore failed to reach statistical significance when analyzing the data using a retrospective cohort approach.
